General Data Protection Regulation
The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) protects the fundamental right to privacy and the protection of personal data. The GDPR was designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe in order to protect and empower all EU residents’ data privacy.
InQuartik’s Commitment to
the GDPR
Security is our highest priority. In addition to our compliance with the GDPR, InQuartik is committed to protecting the privacy and data of all customers of InQuartik’s products and services, no matter where they are located.
What is the GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation will become effective on May 25, 2018. The GDPR replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and was designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe in order to protect and empower all EU citizens’ data privacy.
A Commitment to Data Protection
At InQuartik, we strive to provide our customers with secure and reliable products and services. We are also committed to protecting the personal data of our customers around the world, and we will continue to enhance our security capabilities. In addition, all InQuartik employees undergo confidentiality and privacy trainings.
Please note that we have updated our terms of service and privacy policy for each of our products. These policies are displayed and clearly articulated on each product website. To learn more about our products’ terms of service and privacy policy, please visit our product webpages.
Data Processing and Sub-Processors
Although our services involve only a small amount of data processing of personal data, InQuartik independently conducts the majority of these data processing activities. These activities are performed only to provide our customers with the essential services of our products.
InQuartik may involve third-party sub-processors to support our products and services. However, each third-party sub-processor involved in these services has provided their commitment to and compliance with the GDPR.
Data Requests
Customers can, at any time, request that InQuartik export their personal data. Upon request and confirmation of the customer’s identity, we will provide the customer’s personal data through a secured channel, in a timely manner.
Our customers can also request that we update or delete their data. Once we have received the complete instructions for updating or deleting a customer’s data, InQuartik will process these instructions in a timely manner, unless retention obligations apply.
International Data Transfers
While providing our customers with InQuartik’s global products and services, certain customer data may be transferred internationally between our servers. As a result, appropriate security safeguards are in place to facilitate the international transfer of this data between InQuartik’s servers.
